Los Altos - Mountain View Children's Corner is a developmentally-appropriate preschool serving children and families in the Los Altos, Mountain View and surrounding communities. Los Altos - Mountain View Children's Corner is incorporated as a 501c(3) non-profit organization.
About This Cause
Established in 1979. Children's Corner was founded in 1979 by the Los Altos-Mountain View branch of the American Association of University Women as a non-profit, drop-in childcare center. We were first located in the Los Altos Lutheran Church, with a modest capacity of up to fifteen two to five-year olds with three members of staff. In 1981, we moved to Room C Hillview Community Center where we expanded to serve 100+ families. In 2019, we moved to our new location at 1565 Oak Ave, Los Altos CA 94024 where we continue to be able to serve over 100 families in the community.
