Mission Statement
Western Ballet is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that makes the art of classical ballet performances and education accessible and affordable to the general public, including low-income families and underrepresented organizations. Founded in 1976, Western Ballet makes the performing art of classical ballet accessible to the general public. Since 2007 Western Ballet’s path, philosophy and methodology have been defined from the experiences of Artistic Director Alexi Zubiria’s distinguished career as a principal dancer and a guest artist with some of the most renowned ballet companies in Europe, the USA and South America.
