The Daves Avenue Home & School Club is a 501(c)3 volunteer organization that supports our students, teachers and families at Daves Avenue Elementary School in Los Gatos, Calif., through a wide variety of programs unique to our school.

The Daves Avenue Home & School Club is a 501(c)3 volunteer organization that supports our students, teachers and families at Daves Avenue Elementary School in Los Gatos, Calif.,through a wide variety of programs unique to our school. The mission of the Daves Avenue Home and School Club is to enhance the Daves Avenue school experience for parents, staff and students by supporting curriculum and building a sense of community. These programs are designed to enhance the school experience of students at all different grade levels. The philosophy is to educate the whole child through programs that enhance the core curriculum, expand the arts, integrate technology in the classroom, promote physical fitness, and build a positive school-learning environment. Our goals are reviewed each year to ensure we are meeting the changing needs of our school and students. Club membership is over 325. Our programs serve over 550 students. These programs are funded by events held throughout the year and run by our parent volunteers and teachers. Dedication and commitment of our parent community ensures the success of these events. It's firmly believed that parents are much more willing to support our school and give their time, talent and resources when they feel connected. For this reason, special events are sponsored that are not always fundraisers. Rather, they are community-building events where the entire family can come and just have a good time. Family Fun Night, Bingo Night and Carnival are examples of events hosted every year. Tax ID #94-2786120
