Mission Statement
The mission of the Villages Medical Auxiliary (VMA) is to assist residents to live independent, active and healthy lives as long as possible. The VMA helps residents and their families with individual care needs and concerns in a comprehensive and direct manner.
About This Cause
The VMA provides the following services: Medical appointment transportation, twice monthly grocery shopping trips, meal delivery, medical equipment loan program, blood pressure and flu shot clinics, accepts used cell phones, eyeglasses and hearing aids. Wellness Programs: Grief Support Group Caregivers for mental health support group Parkinson's support group Advance care planning workshop Full time professional service coordinator.
