Animal Ark, a wildlife sanctuary, inspires environmental stewardship through wildlife education.
About This Cause
Since 1981, Animal Ark has provided sanctuary for orphaned, injured and otherwise non-releasable wildlife. Many of our resident animals would have been euthanized if we had not provided a home. These animals live comfortable, healthy lives as ambassadors. Through general visitation, formal educational programs and publications, Animal Ark works to educate our community about the environment and wildlife around us. In 2014, we hosted over 17,000 guests and impacted the lives of over 6,000 school children.
