Mission Statement
The Foundation was created to help District 5170 Rotary Clubs and associated affiliates raise, receive, administer and allocate funds in the interest of poor and disadvantaged people anywhere in the world. One benefit is that this allows rapid fundraising support for disaster areas and a trusted method of delivering donated funds through Rotary channels.
About This Cause
The mission of the Rotary District 5170 Foundation is to encourage the charitable activities of its participants by providing a vehicle for the administration and distribution of charitable contributions. The Foundation administers funds contributed by its participating Rotary Clubs, Interact Clubs, Rotaract Clubs and distributes the funds in accordance with the intent of the contributors. The Foundation was created to help District Rotary Clubs and associated affiliates raise, receive, administer and allocate funds in the interest of poor and disadvantaged people everywhere in the world, and, in pursuit of these activities, to assist and cooperate with other Rotary Clubs and/or Districts.
