Mission Statement
First Place Scholars Charter School is a public school that is uniquely geared towards children experiencing crisis, multiple traumas, extreme poverty and transition in their families.
About This Cause
First Place Scholars seeks to empower families and their children to achieve self-sufficiency through education and wraparound services. We offer the following services to our families. 1. Education in a classroom setting for children K through 5 grade, including assessment and evaluation. 2. Counseling, case management and social services to empower children and their families to achieve stability. 3. basic Services, such as food, clothing, transportation and health, mental health screening and referrals.
