Mission Statement
SoCal YFC works with like-minded partners everywhere to give every young person in the Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Bernardino County a valid opportunity to become a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ.
About This Cause
SoCal Youth For Christ works with churches, schools and other community organizations to do four main things: 1) we build Church Youth Worker Networks in every community dedicated to assisting E mentoring all young people aged 11-19 on their campuses & in their communities 2) we mobilize and train young leaders to have an effective Christ-focused presence on their campus, which often takes the form of Student-led Bible Clubs 3) we do young leader focused training events like Turn Your Campus, IGNITE Teams, LISTEN Weekends, Summer & Winter Camps, etc. Typically each year, we train more than 1,400 young leaders from over 300 different schools. 4) we reach out to young people in specific people groups through outreach programs o like TLC Teen Moms & Dads, SPIN City Life, and Juvenile Justice, etc.
