About This Cause
Peñasquitos Lutheran Church (“PLC”) is a Lutheran congregation located in the north inland suburban San Diego community of Rancho Peñasquitos, about 20 miles northeast of downtown. PLC serves people of all ages and places a special emphasis on families (our median age is 31). Children at PLC are welcomed, nurtured, loved…and plentiful! Although PLC is a fairly large church, it’s also a warm and friendly place with many opportunities for interaction in smaller groups. There are activities for almost any interest; from choir to quilting, building to Bible study, to name a few! PLC is home to Peñasquitos Christian Preschool and offers Sunday School for all ages during the school year as well as Vacation Bible School in the summer. Most important of all, PLC is a place to strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ. Worship services, both contemporary and traditional, are musically and spiritually rich, always with an emphasis on the Bible.
