Mission Statement

Mission Hope’s mission is to partner with the community to provide access to healthy food, housing programs, and essential resources that equip and empower those we serve.

About This Cause

Mission Hope (formerly known as Rancho Damacitas and Community Mission of Hope) is a nonprofit organization serving children, families and individuals struggling with food and housing insecurities throughout Southwest Riverside County for more than 40 years. Mission Hope has four impactful programs to address their needs. 1) The Hope Food Pantry addresses food insecurity and improves nutritional well-being through weekly food distribution. 2) The Hope Resource Center provides essential resources, referrals, and personalized assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity, homelessness, unemployment, or crisis. 3) Hope Family Housing provides safe, stable, and supportive transitional housing for families experiencing housing insecurity and at-risk for homelessness, empowering them to achieve long-term self-sufficiency. 4) Empowerment Village, and the focus of this request, targets single mothers transitioning out of foster care, homelessness, or unstable environments by providing safe housing, holistic support, and opportunities for personal and economic growth leading to long-term self-sufficiency.
