Mission Statement
The El Segundo Education Foundation represents a partnership of business, individuals, and families organized to support and enhance programs of the El Segundo Unified School District and to promote excellence in education.
About This Cause
Ed!’s sole mission is to raise funds to support our local schools. Ed! is unique in that it is the only parent organization that can pay for educational programs. Funding from Ed! is given to ESUSD in the form of a planned and analyzed grant. Ed! partners with ESUSD to determine the monetary needs of the school district and identifies the programs and projects the foundation will fund. Once the grant has been decided, ESUSD plans for the funds in its general budget and Ed! starts fundraising.
