Mission Statement
Chabad of California is a community based nonprofit organization serving the people of California and Nevada since 1965. Chabad's core mission - rooted in Jewish-based values and emulated by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson - is to reach out to others with acts of goodness and kindness.
About This Cause
The target population for Chabad's human services are the hungry, homeless, poor, elderly and people at-risk. Chabad provides drug rehabilitation services, crisis intervention, senior citizen support, homeless assistance, food for the hungry and aid to the destitute. These services are open to all who need, regardless of race, belief, lifestyle or background.
