Mission Statement

ChapCare’s mission is to provide excellent, comprehensive, and innovative healthcare that is accessible to all the residents of the San Gabriel Valley.

About This Cause

ChapCare was founded in 1995 to establish primary healthcare services for the low-income, uninsured residents in the Pasadena area. Today, ChapCare is a network of federally-funded community health centers that provides more than 68,000 primary healthcare visits annually. ChapCare serves all the residents of the San Gabriel Valley with 8 clinics in Pasadena, Monrovia, El Monte and South El Monte, and our own pharmacy in Pasadena. We contract with a number of qualified health plans to provide primary healthcare services for those with health insurance. ChapCare also serves as the community safety net by providing comprehensive healthcare to low income and uninsured individuals and families. Our Vision: Healthy people building strong communities. Our Values - Mutual Respect: We treat others the way we want to be treated. - Excellence: We always do our best, look for ways to be better, and are accountable to each other. - Compassion: We act in kindness always asking first, “how can I help?”
