Mission Statement
The Woodland Park Center is committed to enhancing the civic, intellectual, social, and environmental well-being of the Woodland Park community, located in the Township of Merrill, Newaygo County, Michigan, as well as its surrounding areas. Our Association is dedicated to promoting personal growth, encouraging healthy living, fostering civic engagement, and setting positive examples for our youth, veterans, and beloved elderly residents. Together, we aim to create a vibrant and inclusive community that enriches the lives of all its members and neighbors.
About This Cause
Our Services • Digital Literacy Training: Free hands-on technology education covering basic computer skills, internet safety, and modern communication tools • Health & Wellness Programs: Access to health resources and education, promoting both physical and mental well-being • Social Connection: Structured activities and programs that foster community building and reduce isolation • Veterans Support: Specialized assistance programs including technology training, mentorship, and connection to VA resources • Communication Tools: Training on essential modern communication methods including email, social media, and video calling platforms Our Impact: We believe that everyone deserves to stay connected and engaged in today's digital world. Through our programs, participants gain confidence, independence, and the ability to maintain meaningful connections with family and community.
