Mission Statement
The heart of St. John's mission is to provide comfort and compassion to those who live with a terrible sense of abandonment and helplessness.
About This Cause
St. John's provides over 500 meals daily to those who come hungry and in need. Some make their home on benches at the railroad station, the airport terminals, or under bridges in less-elegant large refrigerator boxes. How one gets to such a point varies; there are those who are mentally ill, others suffer from alcohol or drug addiction, still others that cannot find work. St. John's Clinic provides basic medical care. The people who volunteer their time, treasure, talent and energy are our greatest assets.
