Mission Statement
Grounded in the Episcopal tradition, Emmaus House provides education, opportunity, assistance, and advocacy in partnership with our neighbors in Peoplestown.
About This Cause
Emmaus House uses a two-generation approach to address the needs of the entire family — children and parents together — so they can experience academic achievement and sustained economic success. We offer educational and social enrichment programs during the week, on Saturdays, and during the summer for children, youth, and adults. We also provide case management and emergency stabilization services for adults. We seek to address the systemic challenges that confront people of color and those who live in poverty.
