About This Cause
Support Ione Elementary PFC – Invest in Equity, Leadership, and Learning Ione Elementary is a small public school rooted in the rolling foothills of Northern California, where traditional values, close-knit community ties, and a commitment to student success shape everything we do. Our Parent Faculty Club (PFC) is a dedicated group of parent volunteers who step in to support our school in the face of persistent funding shortages from state and local sources. This campaign focuses on raising critical funds to send our students to outdoor science camp—a formative, hands-on experience that builds leadership, environmental awareness, and lifelong memories. We’re also working to provide basic classroom essentials—things like books, supplies, and technology access—so that every student has the tools to succeed, regardless of background. In addition, we fund field trips to places like the Sacramento Zoo, the Sacramento Science Museum, local working farms, and the nearby salmon hatchery—all thoughtfully chosen to connect students with real-world experiences that make learning more meaningful, engaging, and lasting. Your contribution helps us nurture future community-minded leaders by removing barriers to participation and enriching the daily learning experience.
