Mission Statement

The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 42 schools: 29 Elementary, 5 Junior High, 5 Comprehensive High Schools, one Continuation High School, a Regional Occupational Program and an Adult/Continuing Education Program. FUSD serves nearly 34,000 students (among the largest in the San Francisco Bay Area) in grades TK-12 and has shown a steady increase in enrollment since 2008-09. FUSD employs 4,000 teachers (second-largest employer in Fremont), administrators and staff, with the goal of providing every student access to an excellent education. FUSD is located in the City of Fremont, CA, a thriving international community. Residents come from countries across the globe to call Fremont home. FUSD’s student population is 61.7% Asian, 15.9% Hispanic or Latino, 15.1% White and 3.2% African-American with numerous other groups making up the remaining 4.2%. Overall, over 50 languages are spoken in the homes of our families. We take pride in our diversity, in our community, and in our schools.
