Help at Interchange Food Pantry to nourish our community by providing food to those struggling with food insecurity in Milwaukee. Interchange Food Pantry is looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks to help our pantry operations run smoothly, from welcoming and assisting guests on pantry days to sorting and packing groceries for our guests on set up days.Available Shifts

Join thousands of volunteers in the fight against hunger! Your generosity allows us to help more families in need in Nebraska and western Iowa. We have volunteer opportunities in our warehouse that include packing and sorting donated produce and shelf stable product to be distributed to our partner agencies. Volunteers of all abilities are welcome.Group sizes range from 3 to 30 people. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, ages 10-15 may volunteer with adult supervision. We do not accept court-ordered community service or individuals in the diversion program. .
Dress Attire: All volunteers must wear closed toe shoes for safety reasons.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY
Food Bank Program: WoodGreen’s Housing & Homelessness team run a weekly food distribution program at our 650 Queen Street location every Tuesdays for low-income and homeless individuals.
Volunteers Role: We are actively looking for Corporate Groups to volunteer and support us. Volunteering groups will help to unload boxes of food from the trucks, bag the food for client distribution, and hand out the food bags to our clients. Volunteers should be comfortable lifting and moving boxes or bags. Volunteers will be briefed on event outlay and safety protocols at the event.
Location: In Person at 650 Queen’s St. E, Toronto M4M 1G5
Group Size: Groups of 6-8 employees recommended.

Meals From the Heart consists of a group of volunteers that would like donate a catered meal to the children and families at the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House. Volunteers serve our guests, mingle with guests, prepare to-go plates and clean up. After a long day of hospital visits and appointments, providing them with dinner is one less stressor they will not have to endure today, thanks to you!Meals are scheduled Tuesday's and Thursday's 4pm-7:30pm or 11am-2:30pm
You may have up to 12 volunteers at a time, and all must be 14 or older.
Minors: We ask that any minor volunteering is at least 14 years old, please have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver. You will be unable to volunteer without this completed form, please ask Coordinator of Volunteer Services for form prior to event.
Covid-19 Precautions: ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE VACCINATED AND WEAR A MASK TO PARTICIPATE ON-SITE. Please bring a copy (paper or photo) of your vaccination card with you the day of the event.

Our mission is to give comprehensive assistance to families in need by reducing hunger and homelessness, while encouraging personal growth and self-sufficiency. We maintain two programs: an emergency food pantry and a transitional housing program designed to assist homeless families with children in achieving self-sufficient living. Funding from this annual fundraising event will be used to support our programs.This opportunity includes event set-up, end of event clean-up and event assistance that includes assisting with plant orders and sales.

Join Generosity Feeds Indiana, for a Meal Creation Event to create 15,000 Fiesta Black Beans and Rice meals. All meals created will be distributed by weekend backpack programs in Monroe County, IN.There are three waves for volunteers to participate in. Wave One, 9:00 am. Wave Two, 11:30 am.
