Ongoing Remote Opportunity
We will send you Assembly Kits that you can use at any clean table at the location of your choice. Each kit makes 20 faceshields and takes about an hour. All you need is a stapler and a pair of scissors. Most folks like to do it while watching TV, but it's up to you!

Go here to tell us how many kits you would like and where to send them:
www.sosforppe.org/make

You can save a life by donating 1 hour of your time from the safety and comfort of your home! We will send you everything you need in an Assembly Kit to make PPE with no special equipment needed! It's easy to do (ages 5 and up) and can make a huge difference!

While many hospitals are now able to get Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), other facilities and organizations are still in great need! From senior centers to students, there is a shortage of PPE to fight Covid-19. How would you feel being asked to go to work in an environment where not only could it compromise your health, but the health of all your family members? You can help the people we count on to help us.

At SOSforPPE.org, we supply PPE Assembly Kits for our network of volunteers to safely make or assemble PPE and then we get it to our frontline caregivers to help keep them safe. We send you the Assembly Kit with all the materials you need to make face shields, masks or eaRests to help firemen, ambulance drivers, nurses, doctors, seniors, students and neighbors.

There is a tremendous need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for our caregivers and others, can they count on you to help?

(Tax Deductible Monetary Donations can be made on our website, SOSforPPE.org, or sent through your corporate portal to our parent non-profit, STEMsForYouth.org)

Reaching families is looking for skilled volunteers. We are a crucial bridge the gap outreach program that strives to fill the gaps in traditional food bank and government programming.
We have been working behind the scenes to support many outreaches, Reserves, Veterans, families, children, and our areas most vulnerable populations for over 12 years.
We have a variety of roles & opportunities and would love to hear from you !!!
Our current objectives include a visibility and fundraising initiative to bring us into sustainability so that we can meet demand. We are in need of drivers for pick up and delivery with valid drivers license 2 million liability insurance as well as having access to their own truck, SUV or van is preferred. We need help in the Warehouse with sorting, storing and Covid 19 sanitizing. We are always on the hunt for teachers to help and volunteer for program creation, anyone with a law degree to help us look over proposals and sponsorships... as well as a fellow humanitarian spirit that has some kind of relevant degree in counselling or psychology that would be willing to volunteer their time to assist in the design and application of our newest Women Empower Project -
There are many roles and we seek to build an amazing committee that will serve as the sounding board and networking platform for our initiatives. If you share our passion to create change and have the largest possible impact for our most vulnerable... If you have a talent in Art or are connected in our City's Music scene, have experience in large scale gala planning... come be a part of a program and project that wants to hear what you have to say and your ideas.
Please forward your interest, resume and detailed cover letter highlighting why you feel drawn to our cause and how you could help to charlottegilmer81@gmail.com or by going through this wonderful site.
We do have a careful screening process for all of our volunteers, as we do serve vulnerable populations. A current Criminal record check with Vulnerable sector is required. Though a criminal conviction does not necessarily mean you are disqualified from consideration, we will determine this case by case through the interview process.
Thank you so much and we look forward to hearing from you.
