Sort and pack foods and supplies that will directly impact our residents facing hunger and food insecurity. The Community Food Bank provides over 4 million pounds of relief for 70,000+ residents.
Monday - Friday 8am-noon volunteers and staff work to sort and prep relief items for the 62 pantry partners we serve. By sorting meats, produce, canned goods and other items, we fill any gaps our neighbors as experiencing due to their current situation.

Join the volunteer team at the Jewish Community Pantry.

The Jewish Community Pantry provides emergency food to individuals and families in crisis throughout the greater Milwaukee community. Connecting guests to community resources, while increasing our community’s awareness of hunger’s impact and working to alleviate its impact, the Pantry is our Jewish communal response to hunger in Milwaukee.

We serve our clients inside the pantry on 29th and Center St. Positions include interviewing, stocking, and greeting clients. The pantry is open every Tuesday from 4pm - 6pm and Thursday from 9am – 12pm.

Volunteers can work Tuesday 3:30pm - 6pm, Thursday 8am – 10:15am, and 10:15am – 12:30pm.

Over the years we’ve rallied up 100,000 volunteers at over 10,000 events to make and donate hugs in a bowl to local agencies that serve at-risk families and individuals in your community. We have partnered with some of our favourite cooking schools and culinary partners to create a stir at any one of their locations.

We offer these PAID FOR VOLUNTEER events in 9 cities across Canada. Registration fees vary from city to city, but each includes a simple meal, two beverages, and YES, all of the ingredients required to make the soup that we will donate on your behalf. Opportunity Details

The New Albany Food Pantry receives food donations from delivery of food will be arriving from Mid-Ohio Food Collective, grocery stores, etc. We need volunteers to help unload the truck and bring them into the pantry to help us get ready for Open Pantry shopping. We also need volunteers to carry some items upstairs. Please note this requires some moderate to heavy lifting and taking items upstairs.

HI! We are a small nonprofit organization and we need help with marketing and fundraising. We know very little about this process and we would like someone to consult with, brainstorm, work with to get ideas and ways to get our name out there.

We fill blessing boxes (micropantries), give monthly meals, Youth Programs and boxes of hygiene and food kits to people around the community.

We have one type of thing we sell within the organization and I can not get any revenue even though we have the Google Ad Grant bringing clicks, but no buys.
