Looking to combat hunger in Harford County? The EPICENTER at Edgewood is seeking volunteers for our September Health Fair & Food Giveaway on Friday, September 14th.Each month, The EPICENTER hosts a Health Fair & Food Giveaway, through which we partner with Tabitha's House and give away fresh food to Harford County citizens in need. We also invite a broad spectrum of community organizations to share health, financial, employment, and other types of resources with guests.
Volunteers may help with any of the following tasks while serving: setting up before the Food Giveaway, sorting food, bagging food, giving food bags to guests, or cleaning up after the event. Additionally, if you speak Spanish, we could always use help translating for Spanish-speaking guests (though Spanish skills are by no means required).
If you are in need of food, we welcome you to obtain food while you work. We also encourage you to share this event on social media, in your offices, or with anyone you know who may benefit.
