This annual charity event, now in its 11th year, raises funds for the operations of the St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry. The event is a dance/silent auction/& raffle that is expected to raise over $30,000 in one evening. We invite the Kohl's volunteers to once again help us with the silent auction as they have for many years.

The pantry supports nearly 30,000 food insecure people each year in the Poinciana and Kissimmee areas of Florida. It is a critical community program that helps grandparents raising grandchildren; families who can't make it on low wage jobs; seniors who can't make it on their retirement incomes; emigres from hurricanes; the newly arrived; people who have endured some life problems and need help. It is open to all.

This year, food drives will look different because of the Covid-19 pandemic. To minimize the risk of holding an event in person, we encourage you, your family, or your organization to host a virtual food drive!

How it works:

EFN will create a personalized email with a donation link that you can forward to members of your group. You will be able to keep track of the donations that come through your link, and we will keep you updated on how your collection is going.

The money collected will be used to help EFN distribute food to our pantry programs. Your donations will allow EFN to purchase food in bulk, solicit food donations, and distribute food to pantries. For every $1 donated, EFN can distribute 5 meals.

Setting up your virtual Food Drive couldn't be easier! All we need from you is:
1. A contact name and email (phone number optional)
2. A title for your food drive
3. A start and end date
4. A logo or photo to include in the email (optional)

While looking to expand our board of directors, this nonprofit seeks pro bono to diversify the range of skills and expertise that members could bring into our organization. We need help to develop a board recruitment plan that would result in dynamic professionals joining our board.

BPDC is out to bring positive change to our community by providing education and access to health care for vulnerable or underprivileged children, entrepreneurial training for youths, and poor families start small businesses to earn living. When a jobless youth secures employment or a girl child is educated; those are the moments that make the long hours all worth it.
BPDC’s vision is that through our programs and services, there will no longer be any poor youth in Ghana. Our child education program is a key part of making sure that the goal comes to fruition.
