Opportunity Details

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) Convention is donating approximately 65,000-75,000 lbs of fresh produce to Daily Bread Food Bank that will be categorized and then sent to other food banks across Toronto. Individuals and groups are welcome.

We need volunteers to help load donated produce (fruits & vegetables) onto skids and then help load these items onto trucks.

After registering, all volunteers will receive an email closer to the date with final details.

Opportunity Details

Volunteers choosing to work with the CoHO Gardens will be presented with an array of opportunies to be involved. Volunteers may have duties such as; working with CoHO Academy students on garden education, helping maintain and care for the gardens, participating in improvement projects, cooking lessons for the community, or staffing a "Free Market" day. our garden program is growing so opportunities to serve are increasing. our overall goal is to enhance the learning experience for our CoHO Academy students while also providing food, education, and beautification for the entire community.
