At the Food Center, volunteers will help with prepping and serving meals to the Veterans and Families staying at the Center of Hope.

Volunteers must be able to commit to coming at least once a week for breakfast (8:45 am - 10 am) or Lunch (11:45 am - 1 pm)

Over 70% of the students in Western Canadian County are on free and reduced lunches. During the summer months, families have two more meals to provide for their children during the week. Friends of Sparsh sponsor a food pantry at Project PLASE Inc. with a goal to provide shelvable food and hygiene items to the local homeless commnunity. Since the past month the requirements for food items has sharply increased as many grocery stores are sparsely stocked and transportation to the stores is difficult. Our goal is to provide and distribute 50,000 pounds of food items each month.

“Maisto bankas” is a non-profit organization working across Lithuania collecting donated food from producers, retailers, general
public and providing it to the poor through the network of social non-profit organisations.
"Maisto bankas" had collected and distributed more than 8000 tons of food in 2019. Most of the work is done by volunteers.
„Maisto bankas“ warehouses, situated in 5 major Lithuanian cities, need 5-10 volunteers everyday, who would help sort out food and prepare it for distribution.
If you are looking for way to help and think that a volunteer time off with your teammates would be a fun thing, then Lithuanian food bank is a place to go to.
The day will start at 9 or 10 in the morning with the training. Afterwards you will spend 4 hours sorting the food in the warehouse. We are working six days a week and you are always very welcome.

We are going to organize "World Peace & Prayer Week" starting from 18th June to 21st June 2024.

You can work from home as a graphic designer, film editor, digital marketer, or blog writer, setting up an online exhibition (Photo and Video) with the voting system, and coordinate or participating in the day of events. You can contribute your time, energy, or creativity to these events.

On this occasion, we have to motivate people to pray for peace (Prayer is written by famous author Tara Light) while praying we would like to motivate people to understand the importance of nature and take action to protect nature. All who will be participating in these events have to pray at the time of sunrise. They need to wake early morning and also perform Surya Namskar (Salute to the Sun or Sun Salutation).

Participants need to take a picture while doing prayer and performing with sunrise, and make the video, it can be done solo or in a group. It can be any day of 18th June, 19th June, 20th June, or 21st June 2024.

We need a volunteer to organize and promote these events. We will recognize your efforts and provide the certificate along with a lifetime membership of the foundation as a "World Peace Mentor" This membership is reserved for teachers and professionals.
