Furniture is essential to a person's physical and emotional well-being. The Furniture Bank provides beds for sleeping, tables for sharing meals, and couches for relaxing. Your group can help!Furniture builds provide an opportunity to learn new skills, collaborate in groups, and make a house a home for those in need. This is great for companies who want to volunteer at their own office!
HOW IT WORKS: We deliver furniture items and tools to you the business day before the build, you can build on your own schedule, and we'll pick up the completed pieces the business day after the event. We typically need 2-4 weeks to get offsite builds set up depending on event size. Once you sign up, we'll be in touch to confirm availability.
DELIVERY AND PICKUP: All deliveries and pickups are M-F 8am-4pm. You will receive a 3-hour timeframe the business day before each.
DONATION: Furniture Builds require a $60 donation per piece of furniture to help cover the costs of materials. A group of X people will typically build X number of items in a 3-hour period. Example: 30 volunteers will typically build 30 pieces, 30 x $60 = $1800.
