RMHC of GC provides daily meals to families of sick or injured children staying at the Ronald McDonald House. This is made possible thanks to our volunteer Dinner Crews! Dinner Crew volunteers prepare dinner for families, serve the meal, and package leftovers. Our Group Volunteer Manager, Michelle Salazar, will provide additional details upon sign-up.

Dinner Crews support in one of three ways:
Cook & Serve: Plan a menu, purchase your ingredients, and then use our fully equipped kitchen to prepare and serve dinner. Our guest families appreciate some vegetarian options as part of dinner!
Buy & Serve: You may buy premade or prepackaged food from a grocery store/restaurant/caterer, such as rotisserie chickens, lasagnas, deli meat, and prep and serve here. No food made at home, please!
Order Delivery: If you’re pinched for time or cooking is just not your thing, you may cater a meal and serve or just order delivery from a restaurant such as Domino’s. We appreciate you providing the meal in any way possible!

Dinner suggestions from families: BBQ, Enchiladas, Cheesesteaks, Fried Chicken, Stir Fry, Pot Roast, Sausage Dogs, Chicken & Dumplings, Kebabs, Hawaiian Roll Sliders, Meatloaf, Soup & Grilled Cheese, Stuffed Peppers, Meatballs, Baked Ham, Jambalaya, Ribs, Pitas, Baked Potato Bar

Alliance for Positive Change’s mission is to help low-income New Yorkers make lasting, positive changes toward health, housing, recovery, and self-sufficiency as they navigate life with HIV and other chronic health conditions.

We distribute hygiene products to our participants, many of whom are homeless or unhoused, or unable to afford basic hygiene necessities. We rely on the generosity of donors and partners to help us provide hygiene supplies to those we serve.

Companies can:
1) Host a donation drive to collect hygiene products
2) Purchase hygiene products and assemble kits either at your company's location or at Alliance's community-based site.

We request: shampoo or conditioner; toothpaste and toothbrushes; body wipes; lotions; nail clippers; razors; feminine products; deodorant; shaving cream; and soap/body wash.

Items must be unopened and unexpired. Travel sizes are preferred, but we will accept larger-size items.

We look forward to working with you to start your donation drive today!
