RESET Society of Calgary (formerly Servants Anonymous Society) is currently recruiting for Live-In Coordinator roles. The role of being a Live-In is at the heart of RESET’s approach to offering support and program services. By using this model which uses live-ins (as volunteers, versus a group home model where staff are paid), our participants receive a tremendous amount of dignity and worth, because Live-Ins are seen as volunteers who CHOOSE to support our participants which implies very strongly that they CARE about and WANT to support our women in their journey. This empowers our Participants to take full responsibility for their actions and decisions.• Is a single woman, who may be employed (full or part-time) retired, or a student. Shift work is acceptable as long as curfew rules can be adhered to (11 pm on weekdays, 12 am weekends)

• Is able to set and implement Clear Boundaries
• Have an understanding of 12 Step Programming (being in a 12 step program would be an asset)
• Has an understanding of Women who have been marginalized
• Lives with RESET participants (and their children if applicable) in one of the RESET frontline houses
• Role models a positive lifestyle, while supporting the application of RESET day program learning
• Is willing to embrace the same lifestyle as her roommates (the participants) in terms of adhering to curfews, abstaining from intoxicants and keeping anonymity of the house location in order to maintain a safe living environment for all
• Creates an environment for adult women to live independently, while being a part of the community
• Possesses Conflict Resolution Skills to help resolve issues within the house, with the support of RESET staff in ways that model understanding, empathy, compromise and healthy communication, with grace
• Maintaining the general upkeep of the house by encouraging all participants to participate in daily chores.
