Hygiene Kits are an essential resource for our youth both on-site and in the community. Items such as deodorant, toothpaste, sunscreen, lip balm, cleansing wipes, and feminine hygiene products are just some of the basic items that we believe everyone should have access to. It is greatly appreciated if volunteers can pack these items into draw-string backpacks. Otherwise, large Ziplocs also work.Current items that are of help (You do not need to include every item on the list):
Men's boxers/women's underwear (any size)
Razors
Socks
Deodorant/body wipes
Body wash (men & women's)
Lotion
Diva cups/feminine pads
Carmex Lip Balm
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Pre-loaded bus card or $5 fast-food gift card (many youth are looking for a hot meal)
Backpack/tote bag/drawstring bag to hold hygiene kit items
To donate kits, please email dlee@pathfindersmke.org. NOTE: We are asking that these items be purchased/supplied by volunteers to participate to mitigate materials being transported out and back into our building as we weather the pandemic realities. Thank you for your support of our youth!
This volunteer project is to be completed from the safety of your own home. Kits can be dropped off Monday - Friday between 11 am - 4 pm. A mask is required to be worn upon entering our front lobby. If you would like a contact-free drop-off, please call the front desk upon arrival.
