The Fort Bragg Armed Services YMCA is on a mission to provide support to service members and their families through educational, recreational, and social programs. Our family support services include childcare, mentoring, infant support, and the giving of household goods or financial support for lower enlisted families in need.

Currently, we could use any assistance is day-to-day tasks at the organization to help us run smoothly. Filing, folding, organizing, computer work, etc. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

365 days each year, volunteers visit Womack Army Medical Hospital on Fort Bragg to deliver gift bags to new moms, E6 and below. Bearing gifts of diapers and wipes, onesies, socks and other age appropriate items, Baby Bundles offers us an opportunity to support junior enlisted soldiers and thier families, who may have difficulty financing the immediate needs of thier newborn. This program began in 2003 when Community Health Nurses noticed service members struggling to support thier young families.

April is the observation of Child Abuse Prevention Month. The pinwheel has been chosen as a national symbol of prevention because it is fun and whimsical and a good emblem of the happy childhoods all children deserve. We will "plant" 1,000 pinwheels to form NJ's Annual Big Pinwheel Garden as part of our advocacy efforts. Volunteers will help distribute pinwheels to guests, "plant" pinwheels, take photographs, and remove all planted pinwheels, leaving the Grounds for Sculpture designated area in pristine condition.

The Destination Impact Gala is a Celebration of the 25+ years of vital work to strengthen families at our member centers across Colorado. We invite you to join us as we raise awareness of family development work by highlighting the achievements of our 30 Family Resource Centers and the Association. We'll need help with the sign-in table, food service, photography, raffle ticket sales and other tasks that will help our gala to be a success so we can continue to help families in Colorado get access to healthcare, nutrition, education, parental training, youth development, emergency assistance, financial literacy, job readiness, and life skills.

Who: More than 900 twenty and thirty-somethings gather for a cause hosted by Candlelighters Young Professional Group!
What: Guests sip, sample, and vote as local restaurants vie for the title “Best Margarita!” The most important part of the Margarita Taste Off is that it’s all for a cause—and what better cause than providing support to children with cancer. Since its inception in 2008, the Margarita Taste Off has raised more than $450,000 for Candlelighters; a unique organization local to Houston that provides emotional, educational, and practical support to children with cancer and their families receiving treatment here in the Texas Medical Center.
100% of profits raised through the Margarita Taste Off will be used to directly impact the lives of children with cancer and their families. Thank you for being a part of this mission!

Camp LIGHT's open house is an opportunity for the community to visit our facility, learn more about Camp LIGHT and events at Creative Works Farm, play games, and meet the team of staff and volunteers that will be there to answer questions. Volunteers from Kohls will be assisting families in our game area with things like Gaga Ball 9-square, Snookball, the Airtop, and more.
