Children's Learning Center will be hosting the 11th Annual Night GLOW 5K Run/Walk fundraiser to support their center. CLC is a not for profit charity (501c3) that directly impacts children with special needs & developmental delays. The event promotes physical fitness in a fun atmosphere for the very young, as well as the not so young. At our 2017 event, around 300 citizens showed their support. The event encourages participants to dress up in as much neon, glow in the dark gear as they can to help "light up the night.” There will be music, a photo booth with souvenir photo strip, and fun activities during onsite registration 6:15-7:45 & during results tabulation. Race begins at 8pm. There will be stations along the race route to encourage all participants to keep going with glow-in-the-dark fun themes!

We will need volunteers to help with pre-activities from 6:00pm-7:45pm - assist with bounce houses, photo booth, kids train, and etc. Once race begins at 8pm, we will also need help with removing bid numbers after racers cross finish line and to hand out items on the race route.

Volunteers will be helping run the golf tournament in every way, setup, registration, par 3 games monitoring, serve drinks at the awards ceremony, pass out prizes to winners and pack up at the end of the day. The Therapy Place currently serves over 160 children each week, children who deserve to have every opportunity to reach their full potential. The funds raised from these events help us provide financial assistance to families whose children participate in our Bridges Preschool program. Funds help us to provide top-notch therapeutic services through purchasing needed equipment, performing facility upgrades and training our therapists and teachers. Without these funds, our budget would cover basic operations and not allow us to keep up with the technology and training our staff needs to provide the best care possible.

On Saturday, April 7th we’ll hosting our first ever Stand Up For Kids Dinner and Comedy Show Fundraiser. The event features Bay Area’s Michael Mancini; a 30 year professional comedian.
Adding to the event will be appetizers, dinner and dessert at Leal Vineyards Barrel Room along with wonderful raffle and silent auction items. It will be an exceptional evening to dine, laugh, look to Chamberlain’s future, and fund raise for a very important cause: new computers for the entire campus. This will include the clinical, leadership, classroom and child care staff along with new computers in each of the cottages the children live in and use for homework, research and more. The current computers are 10 years old and very inadequate in today's world.

We believe that every baby deserves the best possible start.
Unfortunately, not all babies get one. We are changing that.
From advocacy to education to research, we’re working to level the playing field so that all moms and babies are healthy. Because when a society supports every family, the future is brighter for us all. And when communities work together, even the toughest problems can be solved.
Join us at March for Babies on Sunday, April 29th at the Rutgers University Football Stadium in Piscataway, NJ. The day will include music and entertainment. Take part in our family fun area with face painting and activities, volunteer as a check point water station along the route and/or start a walk team. We hope to reach our goal of $300,000 with your support. Visit our event page at marchforbabies.org/event/Middlesex for more information.
