This event is in collaboration with Operation Homefront, H-E-B, American Veterans Mission, and the National Mounted Warfare Museum. The Star-Spangled Babies program provides baby showers to expectant moms in growing military families. Due to deployments and frequent relocation, military parents-to-be often live far from their extended families and support systems. Moreover, like many new parents, they have questions, concerns, and fears. This program provides these new and expectant parents with baby care items, early childhood education tips at in-person events, and a support system when loved ones are far away.

As volunteers, we will set up at the venue at 0900. The public event opens up to parents/expectant parents at 1300. The public event ends at 1600, with tear-down and cleanup following until 1700 or until completed. Please note that we serve as the volunteer force of this event, and the program participants must be pre-registered with Operation Homefront to access the venue at 1300 hours.

The 20th Annual Grapevine Presented by North Hills Toyota will be hosted on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Revel + Roost in Downtown Pittsburgh from 6-8 p.m.

Grapevine, the signature event of Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, brings together Make-A-Wish supporters, wish families and dedicated volunteers for a dynamic evening with one singular aim: coming together to grant life-changing wishes.
Attendees will sample seven wines thoughtfully paired with heavy hors d'oeuvres and enjoy the event's highly anticipated silent auction and the ever-popular Mystery Wine Sale.

We kindly ask for volunteers to help us set-up prior to the event (11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). This will include putting together favor bags, wrapping wine bottles for the Mystery Wine Sale, putting signs up and helping set up the silent auction baskets. Your volunteer efforts will help us raise even more money to grant wishes to local children with critical illnesses.
