As an organization on the countryside, facilitating integration and society participation is one of our most difficult challenges for the children and young adults who live with us. It's a very difficult challenge first of all because of the personal difficulties that our children and young adults often know, but in the second place it's also a challenge due to the lack of public mobility in our region. For every aspect that is import for the well-being and the development of children and young adults, we are obliged to take them there by car. School, leisure activities, meetings with family of friends, therapy, holiday camps, or even going out or a party, without transport by car our children wouldn't have the opportunity to participate to all those things.That's why we are always searching for (new) volunteers who are willing to drive our children to their different activities outside our organization.
This might look as a trivial work of volunteering, but don't be mistaken! Driving our children and young adults to all those places, will give you the chance to build an unique and long lasting relationship with them and is also a real investment in their well-being and their future. An investment for which they are each time truly grateful!
And last but not least, we can't provide any payment for the volunteering, but we do provide cars that you can use to drive our children into the future!

We are looking for someone who is willing to help us to optimize our Google Ads. We are eligible for the NGO fund and so have 10.000$ budget per month, but we lack the skills and time to take advantage of this opportunity.We are a non-profit association founded in Austria in 2008. Since 2020, Make Me Smile International has also been active in Germany, Switzerland, and since 2021, Luxembourg.
In cooperation with local partner organisations, we have implemented projects in Kenya, Colombia, Lebanon, and Ukraine that are in line with our approach to sustainable development cooperation.
Our main focus is on the work in Kenya with our partner organisation Make Me Smile Kenya, where we focus on Child and Youthcare, Gender Equality and Health.

One of our programs, Family Support Services, is seeking your assistance with hosting a Cupid’s Day celebration with 12 of NAC’s youth! Volunteers will have an opportunity to engage with our kids by creating slime and playing a few festive games. The Kohl’s team will be an integral part of this event, ensuring we can provide adequate supervision and enabling each child to receive the unique attention, care and support they need to feel special and seen.*Please note that due to NYC mandates, all volunteers must submit proof of vaccination prior to the event and be masked while in attendance.
