Baby2Baby provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. Over the past 11 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 270 million items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and underserved schools as well as to children across the country who have lost everything in the wake of disasters.

Volunteer at Baby2Baby's headquarters for in-person and outdoor volunteer sessions for individuals and groups of 25 people or less. These sessions are two hours long and provide our generous volunteers the opportunity to prepare and assemble basic essentials to send to the children and families being hit the hardest by the pandemic in Los Angeles and across the country.

Age Requirements:
-Minimum age requirement is 7.
-Volunteers ages 7 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
-Volunteers ages 13 to 17 must have our waiver signed by parent or guardian.

Accessibility: Our sites are accessible for all assistive mobility devices. Hablamos Español (Spanish speakers available if needed).

Additional Information: We recommend you dress for the weather because all sessions are outdoors (i.e. sunscreen, hat, jacket, etc.). Activewear and closed-toe shoes are preferred - our volunteer projects involves a lot of moving so we want you to be comfortable! We also encourage you to bring a filled reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

Please help our youth by committing to reading to pre-Kindergarten children in Manatee County, FL for half an hour or an hour each week. Le Centre de pédiatrie sociale en communauté de Verdun, Les Petits Renards, ainsi que les 42 autres centres de pédiatrie sociale à travers le Québec, se mobiliseront pour récolter dans fonds dans le cadre de leur Guignolée annuelle le 11 décembre prochain.

Pour les Petits Renards, l’objectif est clair : recueillir 60 000 $ pour assurer l’accompagnement de plus de 300 enfants au cours de l’année 2022. La totalité des fonds amassés lors de cette campagne de fin d’année servira à offrir des services aux enfants et adolescents du Grand Sud-Ouest de Montréal vivant en situation de grande vulnérabilité, ainsi qu’à leurs familles.

Votre présence le jour de l’événement nous garanti de recueillir un plus grand
nombre de dons et nous permettra d’accompagner plus de 300 enfants en situation
de grande vulnérabilité au sein de 4 différents points de services du Grand Sud-
Ouest de Montréal. Le Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Verdun souhaite offrir plus de
6 000 interventions directes auprès des enfants en 2022. Ensemble, contribuons à
l’accompagnement et favorisons le développement optimal de ces enfants.

About Pandemic Professors:
Pandemic Professors is a nonprofit organization that offers free tutoring and mentorship to underserved students in low-income communities. The service was created to bridge the education gap caused by e-learning and the pandemic. We are a 100% volunteer- run organization and we do not have any paid positions.

We are spreading the word about our services and improving our communication to tutors and families that are already part of our community. We would like a Marketing Copywriter to join our team who is passionate about social good, education, and social media to help us build a stronger online presence.

We are looking for a Marketing Copywriter to create inspirational, clear and concise content for emails, social media, website, blog and other publications. In this role, you will be responsible for creating materials and direct email campaigns that help inspire action across our key stakeholders. You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop a variety of content marketing materials. You might also work with other departments in copy needs.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Excellent media and communication skills
-Strong project management and organizational skills
-Desire to grow to be a strong manager who can lead a team to group and individual success
-English, Creative Writing, Communications, or experience with branding, content strategy, marketing, or copywriting is a plus.
-Experience working with nonprofits is a plus.
-Experience working with students and parents or experience tutoring is a plus.
