Opportunity Details

Home-Start is a voluntary organisation in which volunteers offer regular support, friendship, and practical help to young families under stress helping to prevent family crisis or breakdown. Our volunteers generally have parenting experience, and so understand firsthand that family life can sometimes be tough. Our volunteers are central to the Home-Start service; we could not offer families the same support without them. The Digital Marketing Volunteer role helps to raise greater awareness of the support services Home-Start offers and plays an important role in helping us to reach more families.

Digital Marketing Volunteer Role
This is a rewarding role which requires commitment, reliability, and creativity. The aim is to promote, develop and maintain our online presence, and to raise our profile in the local community so that we can reach and support more families. Full training will be provided, but previous marketing, copywriting and/or social media experience would be an advantage, as would parenting experience and a basic knowledge of Home-Start.
