We have a number of online volunteer opportunities at One Heart Health that support getting the message out about our work and fundraising.

If you are interested in volunteering with One Heart Health, you would participate in a 30-minute online meeting with the Development Director to identify possible opportunities for engagement, and then other than weekly check-ins with the Development Director, you make your own schedule to enable your self-identified volunteer tasks.

One Heart Health Wish List:

1 - Use Google Analytics to review opportunities for improvements in the Onehearthealth.org website.

2- Help us identify methods to increase followers for One Heart Health on social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram

3- Identify, develop and promote One Heart Health on corporate giving portals such as Benevity, United Way etc.

4- Assist with preparing the year-end updates for foundations and investors

5- Provide expertise in utilizing Little Green Light, a donation CRM.

6- Offer to proof read/copy edit grant proposals and/or Newsletter articles

7- Knowledgeable on WordPress and able to alter static portions (not managed content) of our website.

8- Provide graphic design services in MailChimp to improve our e-newsletter

9- Fundraise for One Heart Health by making us the recipient of a fundraising effort such as a race, a fraternity or sorority effort, and/or by being a “team leader” for our Year-End Go Fund Me effort.

Organize, sort, and sometimes launder new or gently used clothing donated to Homes of Hope for the Hope Room.
When a child is placed in foster care they usually only have the clothes they are wearing. The families that take them in do not have the clothing and or baby furniture needed for these children. They call us with sizes and needs and we provide clothing, beds, car seats, etc. for the children. We need help keeping the Hope Room stocked and sorted with items for these emergency needs and for families to visit the Hope Room up to three times a year per child.

It's Your Birthday, Inc. is kicking off 2021 with a fun virtual volunteer opportunity. Similar to our past decorating events – hats and treat bags, we would like to decorate 60 birthday boxes. Since March of 2020, we have paused hosting birthday parties in shelters and instead provided the child with a fun Birthday-in-a-Box (or in some cases, a Bag). Well, we are running low on nicely decorated boxes. We anticipate celebrating 250-300 birthdays this year. The 60 boxes will help us through the first few months 😊

Please consider volunteering with us on January 18th in observance of Dr. MLK Day of Service and decorate boxes with us! No RSVP needed – just dial in at one of the times most convenient for you. This is a great activity for a group to enjoy!

Act locally to make the world a better place! Serve on a nonprofit board for a Utah nonprofit serving kids with cancer and similar disorders.

We do NOT manage volunteers through this system. You MUST apply at https://camphobe.campmanagement.com/staff/ . Choose the "Year-round Board Member" position.

We are seeking individuals willing to make a 4-year commitment to serve on the board of directors of Camp Hobe'. The board of directors meets four times a year to:
* Review the organization’s mission and policies for its operation, ensuring that the provisions of the organization’s charter and bylaws are being followed.
* Review the organization’s overall program from year to year and engage in longer-range planning to establish its general course for the future.
* Review budget and fiscal policy.
* Provide adequate resources for the activities of the organization through direct financial contributions and a commitment to fundraising. Board members are expected to make Camp Hobe' their top nonprofit organization, by making their own personal gift each year, and by participating in activities to generate income for our organization.
* Maintain a communication link to the community by promoting the work of the organization.

Our board nomination process includes a brief online application, reference checks, and an intake interview. Submit a letter of intent and a CV/resume to board@camphobekids.org to be notified when the application opens. Nominations from prospective board members are reviewed and voted on each February. A CASA volunteer provides a judge with a carefully researched background of the child to help the court make a sound decision about the child’s future. The CASA volunteer must help determine if it is in the child’s best interest to stay with his or her parents, guardians, or to be freed up for adoption. The CASA volunteer makes a recommendation regarding the placement to the judge, and follows through on the case until it is permanently resolved. To prepare a recommendation, the CASA Volunteer talks and visits with the child, parents, family members, social workers, school officials, health providers, and others who are knowledgeable about the child’s history. The CASA Volunteer also reviews all records pertaining to the child’s school, medical, and caseworker reports, and other documents. A CASA Volunteer carries only 1-2 cases at a time. A CASA is required to make a commitment to the program for 12 months, committing 12 hours per month to their case(s). The 12 hours a month consist of one hour per week visit with the child(ren).
