Every year, Angelwish organizes a charity WIFFLE Ball tournament to help corporate folks relive their childhood, settle old scores with their corporate competitors, meet with their customers outside of a stuffy office, AND support an awesome charity that helps children with chronic illnesses.

The 2021 Angelwish Wiffleball Classic is a 16 team, single-game elimination WIFFLE Ball tournament and home run derby and we could really use some volunteers to help make the day run smoothly.

General AM volunteers will help with field and event set up, team registration, pick up coffee and bagels, and help with photos. Other duties as needed.

General PM volunteers will help with scoring, photos, field breakdown & cleanup, and pick up lunch. Other duties as needed.

Please note that we are hosting tournaments on both Thursday, 8/26 and Friday 8/27. This volunteer opportunity is for the 8/26 tournament only.

If a smile can change your entire day - a few words of kindness could change your entire year.

Let's raise the spirits of some amazing children living with chronic illnesses as well as their family and the frontline medical workers that care for them by creating cards to thank them, support them, encourage them, and celebrate them.

Angelwish will provide some background and then leave it to you and your creativity to come up with some amazing ways to share a positive message in the form of a card.

We will then provide the cards to our social workers at places like the University of Maryland Adolescent and Young Adult Center. These cards will provide them a deep drawer of cards that they can personalize as needed.

We have also been adding in some $10 to $25 gift cards that are given to families and frontline workers - everything from Kohl's to Starbucks! We've already purchased some of these cards - they will go along with your cards to the hospitals.

Looking forward to working on this with you to see how creative you can be!
