E3 AZ Foundation, Inc. is excited to announce that we are hosting our first ever virtual PosiPaws [Stuffed Animal] Drive! Our Mission is to *Encourage (E1), Equip (E2), and Empower (E3) youth in out-of-home care, foster care alumni, and their supporting families by providing goods and services that promote love, support, and motivation. The pandemic this year has without a doubt slowed down our traditional events but we will continue to find alternatives to continue to Encourage (E1), Equip (E2), and Empower (E3) our youth in this season. This Christmas season, we have a huge goal to achieve. Our goal is to collect and distribute at least 300 new stuffed animals. These stuffed animals are more than just another toy to fill a room. Each plush friend given we do it with intention, love, and purpose. Their positive messages and warm fuzzy hugs help children feel loved, appreciated, comforted, and bring a much needed, big boost to their self-esteem. We are very appreciative for your generosity and creativity as we create positive, inspiring, encouraging and empowering messages that will be attached to each stuffed animal.

We are looking for a driven and passionate individual to seek out and build relationships with the corporate gift decision makers within businesses to present this opportunity as a solution to provide a socially responsible gift to clients and employees this year.

The double wick candles are hand-poured by refugees in Melbourne and the proceeds from each candle makes a tangible difference in the lives of people living in poverty. You have the opportunity to make a huge impact through this role as the proceeds from selling each candle can provide education for one child or lift three young Tanzanian women out of period poverty by providing them with a supply of sustainable sanitary pads.

1) Sign Up & Notify Us:

2) Receive Pre-Selected STEM Articles:
Amrita-Seattle will provide volunteers with pre-selected STEM articles that have been summarized using AI to ensure clear, concise content and avoid any potential copyright issues.

3) Record the Article:
Volunteers will read the article aloud and record it using any audio recording device (phone, computer, etc.). Ensure that your recording is clear, with no background noise or interruptions.
We recommend reading the article a few times before recording to familiarize yourself with the content and improve your flow.
Make sure to speak clearly, slowly, and with energy to make the content engaging for the listeners.

4)Save & Send the Audio File:
Once you’ve completed the recording, save the file with the following format: FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME.
Email the final audio file as an attachment to: learnwithamrita@AmritaSeattle.onmicrosoft.com

5) Aim for Multiple Recordings:
We encourage each volunteer to record 3-4 articles to maximize the impact of your contribution. The more recordings you do, the more children will benefit from the knowledge you help bring to life!

The Fund Development department at Five Counties Children's Centre is looking for volunteers to work virtually from home to assist with responsibilities such as donor recognition, marketing and communications, graphic design, event support, database updating, and general administrative duties. Projects vary in length from short term (hours) to long term (ongoing). in addition to interests and skills, we can tailor the opportunity to meet a volunteer's requirements in terms of the type of time commitment that is available.

Typically late November is the best time of the year for children in our OVC families as we host an epic annual Christmas party. This year, due to COVID 19, we are bringing the party to them through our Party in a Box campaign.

One of the fun parts of the party is all of the silly games we play. We need you to help us by creating a printable page with instructions for a game that can easily be played in a family of 3 - 10 people, using items that they would be likely to have at home. This page should be cheerful and easy to understand. Think "minute to win it" types of games that will be fun and memorable!

Alonesy is a new concept that aims to make support more available to teenagers via our mobile platform. Our official launch is set for December of this year and in preparation, we are expanding our mentor network. We are currently seeking volunteers for a typical Big Brother/Big Sister type of mentor that can connect with a child on an ongoing basis about everyday things such as school, dream jobs, family life, sports, etc. These mentors should be between the ages of 20-60 years old and must be able to pass a background check. As a volunteer mentor, you would be asked to check in on a recurring basis with your mentee via text, video call, and phone, etc. and create a bond with them! This is a nationwide opportunity and does not require you to be in the same location as your mentee. Just having someone to talk to can make a huge difference in their lives. Before assigning a mentee to you, we will go over some basic guidelines and learn more about you to ensure that you are paired with the right person.

At SOSforPPE.org, we supply PPE Assembly Kits for our network of volunteers to safely assemble PPE and then we get it to our frontline caregivers to help keep them safe. We send you the Assembly Kit with all the main materials you need to make face shields, masks or eaRests to help firemen, ambulance drivers, nurses, doctors, seniors, students and neighbors.
