The Muscular Dystrophy Association is the world’s leading nonprofit health agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neuromuscular diseases.
Volunteers are the driving force that enables MDA to accelerate its worldwide research program and provide diagnostic and follow-up care through a nationwide network of 200 medical clinics.

MDA needs your help with various projects within the office to help us with upcoming events. We need volunteers to help call MDA families to participate in our muscle walk, prepare muscle walk team captain & registration packets, write walk postcards and thank you notes, call for donated items for our muscle walk and auction, make new patient packets, organize, answer the phone, filing and general event prep. We are very flexible to your schedule.

Be the muscle behind the MDA Muscle Walk! MDA Muscle Walk is a life-changing event that strengthens families and communities. In more than 150 hometowns across America, every event includes a 1- to 3.1-mile lap designed for participants of all ages and abilities, including a wheelchair and equipment friendly course. Leading up to the event, participants and teams fundraise to help MDA find research breakthroughs across diseases, care for kids and adults from day one and empower families with services and support to live longer and grow stronger.

Muscle Walk is more than a fundraising walk. It’s a powerful experience that forges lifelong connections, celebrates families and the barriers they overcome and turns hope into answers. Volunteers will assist with event set up, participant registration, manning activity or refreshment booths, manning our photo station where teams can take photos, cheering on our teams as they participate in the walk, and helping with event tear down.

The purpose of this volunteer activity is to provide the Vineland community with the services offered by The Salvation Army Vineland Corps. There will be a BBQ, Bounce houses, school supplies give away. Volunteers are needed from 2-6pm to assist with serving food, clean-up, and running events.

The Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV) provides services and support to those affected by sexual and domestic violence in Linn and Benton Counties.

CARDV's Annual Safe Families Breakfast is our largest fundraiser to raise money for CARDV. Annually CARDV provides services and support for about 7,000 people. Services include a 24-hour crisis and support line, confidential and emergency shelter, legal advocacy, medical accompaniment, transportation services, support groups and educational presentations.

Many kids in foster care do not have the opportunity to celebrate their birthday. At Royal Family Kids Camp, we want to include this important childhood memory in our week. We strive to Make Moments Matter in helping kids in crisis to create positive memories.
Our camp Royal Birthday Party will include a decorated lunchroom, wrapped gifts, and a carnival party. Many hands to help is appreciated!!

Campers are beginning to explore their new surroundings, and activities create an atmosphere where counselors and campers can connect. This is the first step in helping heal.
Support is needed to assist with crafts and waterfront activities, and program music and drama.

Our process is simple. Donations given by people just like you fund the meal ingredients. Volunteers hand-pack the meals. Meals are donated to FMSC food partners around the world, where kids are fed and lives are saved!

The Color Me Rad 5K sends participants through a rainbow leaving them covered from head to toe in powders of pink, yellow, green, blue, and violet.

As the charity of choice, 630 CHED Santas Anonymous provides volunteers to this fun event. We are looking for people to help on Friday August 10th and Saturday August 11th.
