Rob Burroughs fixes bikes and gives them to people in need. He builds trikes for disabled children, fitting them to help strengthen them physically and emotionally. The shop he has been working out of in Kalkaska was recently sold. The new donated space needs work before he can use it. The vehicle he uses to deliver bikes and pick up those being donated for his use is unsafe to drive or pull his trailer. This fundraiser will get him into his new location and help procure a vehicle he can use. He currently has almost 100 requests for a bike and 10 children with disabilities waiting for their trikes. He has a list of 30 more waiting for a trike.
Without a space Rob can't do what he does. Without a vehicle he can't pick up or deliver what he has so freely offered. A bike to these children is so much more then a bike. It is freedom. Could there be anything more important then that? Your support will help Rob continue what he has been doing with very little support for the last 17 years. He lives to bring this happiness to children. Please help him continue to do so.
