This is our 2nd annual foster parent appreciation and recruitment event. As a foster family agency, we like to honor and appreciate the families who have opened their homes and hearts to children in need. We use this event to bless them for their efforts and willingness through a fun family event where they can win raffle prizes and be honored for their years of service. This is also a recruitment event where they are encouraged to bring other families who may be interested in foster care to learn about how to become foster parents, ask questions and see what it looks like to be a foster family. Last year we had over 115 attendees and we are expecting an even bigger turnout this year!Available Shifts

General EyeBall information:The Eye Ball is night to celebrate a great cause, honor those who help Project Vision bring better access to health to the Hawaiian islands, as well as fundraise for another successful year of community outreach. Guests purchase tables which directly fund our non-profit efforts and are celebrated with live music, entertainment, libations, dinner, prizes, live and silent auctions. Annually, Project Vision Hawaii garners the support of some significant VIP guests and great musical headliners! This year we have Mike Love and Paula Fuga performing!
All PVH volunteers are engaged in the same experience. We have a volunteer relaxation station set up with food and beverages as well as a volunteer appreciation gift. We also try to get individual team photos as well as one large group volunteer photo.
Volunteer Information:
Corporate volunteer request:
We would like to invite a corporate volunteer group to assist Project Vision Hawaii’s EyeBall fundraiser to facilitate the check-in Registration table volunteers. The check-in/registration table is a guest's first impression of the EyeBall and we know the volunteers will assist us to help all run smoothly! Once check-in is done, Microsoft volunteers might transition to another volunteer position such as the live auction- this is always an exciting role! Additional Request: Project Vision Hawaii would like to request for any available computers, devices, payment systems or software to be donated to on behalf of the corporate organization to assist the cashier, registration and check-in table during the event. Corporate personnel will volunteer during event, be in charge of devices, and take devices back to their storage after the event.

Total Number of Volunteers requested from organization: 15-20
We respectfully request:
1. 8-10 volunteers for check-in/registration

"Back volunteers" will be pulling table/bid numbers from our files to give to the "front volunteer" to hand out to each of our guests (printed on the programs); (The cashier will double as a back person)
Check in will be in the order that people arrive or line up (first come first serve)
Each front person, and the leader, will have two lists to work from:

The Backpack Run is a professionally timed 5k/10k fundraiser for The BackpackProgram at Indian River CSD. In the past four years this event has raised over $14,000 to support The Backpack Program. Every week of the school year The Backpack Program sends a backpack full of food home with a student in need- not only does this support the nutritional needs of local families but this effort makes a huge difference in a child’s ability to focus, learn, and develop. Kohl’s team members looking to give back to the community by joining us as volunteers at this event not only ensures a smooth and organized 5k/10k but also helps provide a positive atmosphere and creates a high quality event for this fundraiser. We really enjoyed having Kohl's with us the past two years at the Backpack Run helping with t-shirts and post race food- we would love to have you with us again this year! This event will take place rain or shine so please come prepared to be comfortable. Feel free to stick around after the event to enjoy the Theresa Fall Festival!
Thank you for your consideration and we hope to see you on Saturday September 21st in Theresa! Please let me know of any questions or concerns at 315-439-4938 or liacall@ircsd.org

The goal of this event is to distribute the brand new excess infant and toddler clothes to those in need within our community while also providing information (nutrition, simple budgets, laughter) which will help them improve their family's situation long term.Volunteers will be stationed at tables around the gym helping to distribute information, greeting guests, helping with the check out process (all items are free - we simply need to know what items/quantity they select), set up, tear down, etc.
Newburgh and Warrick County have a growing rate of individuals and families who make less than a living wage. Taking a proactive approach to meeting their individual needs while providing information which can help improve their situation long term is a positive measure that impacts our community.

Many of the children in care at the Crisis Nursery do not get to have formal birthday parties due to the challenges facing their families. We love to host "UnBirthday Parties" for our kids while they are in our care in order to celebrate each of the children and offer a special opportunity for them to engage in activities that take their minds off of the challenges they may be facing. Volunteers will help decorate, wrap gifts, and celebrate with our kids!Available Shifts
