#Give2024Sankalp India Foundation (SIF) is a not for profit working for the cause of voluntary blood donation, disaster relief, thalassemia management, prevention and cure since May 2003. The organization has made accessible systematic care and management of thalassemia to more than 2000+ children registered across 21 centers in different cities of India. Through our cure program we have taken up more than 650+ children for Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) at our centres in Bangalore and Ahmedabad with success rates comparable to the European and American centres but at cost that is very nominal. Through our initiatives for voluntary blood, we have organized more than 1500 blood donation drives collecting more than 200,000 units of blood
After Bone Marrow transplant treatment these children are at our childcare home where there are 16 children friendly rooms where they stay for over 60 days so that they can visit the nearby treatment facilities for followup and get good treatment. Their time at childcare home presents an opportunity for external world to interact with these children and make them feel normal and happy and provide them confidence that they can join back the real world post their treatment
Employees of organisations can interact with these children and can play games with them. Employees will also be provided information about blood disorders and its impact on families and how it can be prevented
