What is Teen Reach Adventure Camp (T.R.A.C.)?

T.R.A.C. is a faith-based, international organization. We spend three and half days at a campground located in the mountains with camps specifically for girls or boys.
T.R.A.C. is a camp where youth, ages 12-15 who reside in foster care, experience the outdoors and receive encouragement of hope, while participating in activities that improve trust, self-value and teamwork.
T.R.A.C. volunteers must have a compassionate heart for teens, especially for those who have experienced abuse and neglect. We have a passion to encourage positive hope for every camper’s future. Each camp needs both men and women volunteers.
T.R.A.C. is a safe environment for youth to enjoy a time of adventure, fun and quality time with adults who care about them and enjoy spending time with them.
T.R.A.C. teens will experience outdoor activities like, hiking, archery, zipline, along with the Annual T.R.A.C. Olympic Games. Challenge Course provides a time to learn communication, solve problems and develop trust. Great food and fun evening activities are always a favorite for our campers!
T.R.A.C. volunteers attending camp are interviewed, background checked and thoroughly trained in the T.R.A.C. policies. Standards for working with youth in foster care, along with guidelines of interacting with these teens at camp, are also provided during training.

We will be repackaging diapers in order to distribute 70,000 diapers to our agencies for April. The diapers will be in boxes and need to be repackaged into groups of 20 with a label and packed per agency's request. This allows for our partnering agencies (located in the tri-city area) to give 60 diapers per child and ultimately help over 1000 babies in need on a monthly basis.

Are you passionate about helping to alleviate hunger? The St. Vincent de Paul Meal Program is depended upon by children and adults who are hungry and in need of an evening meal. The majority of people who eat at our sites report that they would not have access to a meal if our program didn't exist. Our sites are volunteer-run and you can make the difference! We serve meals nightly Sunday-Friday, but have a particularly difficult time finding volunteers on Sunday nights. Please consider helping to serve hungry children and adults their dinner on Sunday!
Volunteers are needed any time after 3pm and the meal is served from 5:30-6:15pm.
