Jericho7 Arnaud Projects, Incorporated (JAPI) is Building a medical center, infrastructure and a way of ensuring the right to health care In Des Nippes, Haiti. And we are looking for medical and or healthcare professionals to volunteer their time for the greater good.

Jewish Family Service of San Antonio recently received a very generous grant from Valero Energy Corporation that will go towards expanding our hours and services at our southside location off Mission Road. We are incredibly excited to be able to offer even more counseling services to those who need the extra support, especially with a focus on youth.

We'll be working on the beautification project Sunday, Jan. 20 from 11am-2pm. Volunteer jobs include painting, landscaping, and any other housekeeping tasks that require some elbow grease.

While we're busy planning additional services specifically for children, such as Play Therapy groups, we want to make sure they have a top-notch home-away-from-home for those on the south side of San Antonio.

Opportunity Details

The Christiana Rotary Club has supplied gift to foster children in Delaware for 14 years during the Holiday season, most of the gifts are clothing, coats and shoes along with a few toys. Each year this program has grown from 4 children in 2004 to over 380 children in 2017. To accomplish shopping for this many children we need all the help we can get. We are looking for shoppers to help us find items on children's list. Each child provides us with a list of items they are hoping for along with sizes, color preferences etc and the shoppers task is to find as many items as possible while staying on budget. Our budget per child is between $70 for the youngest to $145 for the oldest children on our list. Shopping must be completed by December 15th for pickup.

Carestream will help provide Christmas presents, clothing and makeovers for 400 at risk children in Las Vegas. The holiday season can be a hard time for children. Each year we give hope to more families then the year before. This event offers families a wonderful meal, clothing, games, toys and other basic essentials. Advocates for Adolescent Mothers is seeking jolly, energetic, and Christmas-loving volunteers to help us distribute gifts to young moms [and their children].

Our Holiday Party is part of our Holiday Drive Program, which has provided toys and outerwear to homeless and underprivileged Chicago youth for Christmas since 2011.

Volunteers may stay as long as they like.
