Volunteer at our exciting Sports Party Night at Crossroads Baptist (8300 Tezel Rd) from 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM. Volunteers can expect to partner with a child with a developmental delay from 6-18 years old or their siblings 5 and up as they engage in interactive gym games, dancing, crafts, and other activities to enrich the child's social skills. We are thrilled to extend an exclusive invitation to you to become a volunteer for our heartwarming KidsConnect, A biyearly Home Heartbeats program. This initiative is an integral part of our mission to empower youth and make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children in our community.

As a youth-led NGO, Together for Africa Organization is dedicated to equipping young individuals like yourself with essential leadership, entrepreneurship, and ICT development skills. We believe that every child deserves love, care, and the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. KidsConnect allows us to fulfill this belief by supporting children's homes and contributing to the fulfillment of several critical Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Quality Education, and Decent Work and Economic Growth.

Volunteering for KidsConnect means becoming a beacon of hope and inspiration for these young souls. You will have the unique opportunity to create lasting memories, spread joy, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. Here's what your role as a volunteer entails:

Heartfelt Visits: Join us in our bi yearly visits to children's homes within Naiobi, Kajiado and Kiambu Counties, where you'll engage in interactive activities, games, and educational sessions that bring smiles to the faces of these amazing children.

Donation Drive: As part of the KidsConnect team, you'll have the chance to participate in donation drives, gathering reading materials, dry foodstuffs, cleaning equipment, clothes and even funds to improve the children's livelihoods.

Skill-Building Workshops: Share your talents and skills during skill-building workshops, empowering the children to explore their creativity, embrace leadership, and develop their personal growth.

By volunteering with KidsConnect, you'll not only leave a lasting impact on the children's lives but also experience personal growth and fulfillment. Your efforts will contribute to the creation of a brighter, more prosperous Africa, where every child's potential is nurtured and supported.

As we come to the end of the year, we welcome you to a children's home visit slated for 28th October 2023 at Fountain of Grace Rescue Center located at Githurai 44, along Thika Super Highway, Nairobi. The children in this home are aged between 2 years and 18 years
Some of the activities to be conducted will be mentorship, cooking, cleaning and fun and games with the children
