We would love to have your help getting diapers ready for distribution. Volunteering is family friendly and all are welcome. This is a fun opportunity for a group of co-workers or for families interested in doing good together. We’ll be sorting and packing diapers and even small hands (6 & up) can help with that. Our Volunteer Sessions are a great way for children to experience giving back and to learn about the needs in our community in a very relatable and tangible way. We also have a small play area suitable for toddlers so feel free to bring along your littlest ones.

Hamburger Mary's dining room will be transformed into a grand French Quarter inspired Masquerade Ballroom for this extravagant event! Come decked-out in your finest Mardi Gras attire, and be entertained by Milwuakee's best. Proceeds from the evening's festivities will benefit Courage Milwaukee and their quest to end LGBT homelessness in Milwaukee! 100% of the proceeds will go to the renovations on The Courage House.

Don't forget your masks (but if you do, we will have some to spare)... a Masquearde Ball King & Queen will be chosen for the best dressed! Enjoy passed hor d'oeuvres and drink specials all night long.

Opportunity Details

The Emerald Ball is one of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals largest fundraising events of the year and we rely on our volunteers for the evenings success. At this gala, we feature our CMN Hospitals Heroes, as well as host a Fund a Miracle, Child Art, and Dessert Auction.

Volunteers are needed during the morning/early afternoon to help set up the event. We will layout 1 table as an example and need volunteers to replicate that table layout to approximately 30 tables throughout the room. This includes setting up glassware, pens, programs, tissue, donation forms, and table tents. Volunteers can dress comfortable and casual for this.

The Wonderment Maker Bus is designed to be a mobile center where kids in Salt Lake City refugee communities can access creative technology, make connections and share what they create with kids around the world. It pulls up fully stocked with an array of tools for kids to make, connect, share, and celebrate; kids have access to resources that allow them to bring whatever they dream up into the real world.
We're looking for local volunteers to help teach classes and looking for ways/activities to connect refugee and mainstream communities.

Changemakers is Wellspring's major annual fundraiser, where we recognize community members who are champions for creating the social changes needed to end relationship and sexual abuse. At the event we also educate attendees about our programs and services and provide opportunities for them to learn what they can do to forward our vision of a community free of abuse.

Opportunity Details

CornerHouse annual Twins event consists of a picnic with free food, bounce house, face painting, balloon artist, live entertainment, and a silent auction. The event is held at the Farmer's Market Annex in Minneapolis. CornerHouse will be selling tickets to the Twins game against Atlanta in conjunction with the event, and event guests will be transported to the game.

Volunteers are needed to help set up tables, set up the silent auction, direct parking, assist bidders with the silent auction and make sure everyone has a great time!

We have our annual Trivia Night at St. Andrews church to help raise awareness and money for our service dog program. We place our dogs at no charge to the recipient and we are able to do this by donations and raising money with our Trivia Night.
