We throw monthly sports camps at the gymnasium in Kunia Village. The number one goal is to give the kids we work with a sense of community through consistent engagement with our coaches, teachers, mentors, other volunteers, and with kids from other parts of the island. We work mostly with low income and homeless kids. We open access to opportunities they otherwise would not have with the purpose to include all in society. We feel this is important for many reasons. Too many kids and people are left out for no real reason in a society that has such abundance. We feel it is important to take what is needed directly to where it is needed.Available Shifts

We are looking for exceptional volunteer groups to travel to the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation in South Dakota. Being a volunteer on the CRST Reservation is about bringing hope to a place that has been marginalized for generations. You will become allies. You will become partners.Through youth development and community building programs, you will create smiles where there is often little reason to smile. With your presence and through the smiles you create you will ease the burden and alleviate the suffering. You will allow an adult to forget their worries and for a child to just be a child.
In addition, you will become an integral part of building the first-of-its-kind intentional community for the most at-risk children on the CRST Reservation in South Dakota: the Simply Smiles Children’s Village.
