Help support CASA DeKalb County's 15th Annual 50 Men Who Cook fundraiser by joining us for a day of Save the Dates! Volunteers will assist staff in preparing approximately 1,250 Save the Date cards for mailing by folding, labeling and sorting. Please note, shift times on April 24 are flexible. Opportunity Details

Volunteers assisting with this event will help with registration and check-in of golfers. Volunteers will hand out gift bags, sell mulligans, and check-in golfers as they arrive. Volunteers may also assist with taking photos, setting up raffle items, and putting signs out.
This event raises funds that support reading instruction to children who struggle with reading, writing, and spelling at no cost to their families.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Kern County is holding its Annual Superhero Run/Walk & Festival on Saturday, April 6, 2019. The event will take place at The Park at Riverwalk and are expecting more than 500 runners and walkers! We’re encouraging participants of all ages to dress as their inner superhero to support abused children living in foster care. CASA of Kern County is a local non-profit that recruits, screens, and trains volunteer Advocates who speak up on behalf of abused and neglected children in foster care.

The pediatric rotunda serves as a welcoming environment to pediatric patients, families and visitors, a destination for patients that just need to get away for a change of scenery and the site for numerous department events. Much like the seasons this area is routinely transformed to incorporate upcoming holidays or current trends. Volunteers are requested to come into the hospital to help decorate for the upcoming season.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Cruz County is hosting the 39th Annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake on Saturday April 22nd and Sunday April 23rd, 2022 at the Boardwalk Bowl. This is a fun event that raises critical funds to support the mentoring services of Big Brothers Big Sisters' programs in Santa Cruz County for at-risk youth.

Matrix charity golf tournament, dinner & silent auction is our biggest and most fun fundraising event of the year! We have 130 golfers come out and partake in golf, raffle, games, and libation. After a day of golf, we end with a nice dinner and silent auction. All of this is done at the WIndsor Golf Club and, and all proceeds from the day make a direct impact on our local special needs children and their families.

Opportunity Details

Victoria Acres is a local non profit organization located in Guilderland NY. Victoria Acres offers equine assisted activities to an array of individuals that have both mental and physical challenges. Victoria Acres is primarily run by volunteers. Spring time can be overwhelming with the duties that need to be completed to get the facility ready for the new season. In the past Kohl's volunteers have donated their time to aid in our Spring Cleanup which has made the event a wonderful success! We need your support again! Duties would be cleaning of the inside of the barn, outside yard cleanup, planting of flowers and installing mulch. We have our first fundraising event of the season on April 28th.

Opportunity Details

Volunteers needed Tuesday March 19th from 12-2pm at Ulster County Community Action, 70 Lindsley Avenue, Kingston for a Farm to Food Pantry apple processing. We will be making apple sauce from apples donated by Prospect Hill Orchards. The apple sauce will be frozen for winter distribution through local food pantries, shelters & soup kitchens. Volunteers (of all ages) are welcome.
