Each night, the St. Vincent de Paul Meal Program’s two sites serve approximately 300 children and adults, but they need YOUR help!

Our North site (Harambee Kitchen) is in need of volunteers every Friday from 3-7pm.

Volunteer opportunities include:
Food preparation, dish washing, food and beverage service, cleaning, laundry, guest relations, donation sorting, organizing, office assistance and special projects.

Our South site (Cross Roads Kitchen) is in need of volunteers every Friday and Sunday from 3-7pm. Volunteer once or on a consistent basis - we appreciate you!

Volunteer opportunities include:
Shower attendant, food preparation, dish washing, food and beverage service, cleaning, laundry, guest relations, donation sorting, organizing, office assistance and special projects.

We are happy to provide a letter of completion for volunteer hours for school, court, W-2, FSET, GATES, Etc.

Centro Infantil de los Angeles provides free daycare for children 1 month old - 5 years old. Volunteers are an integral part of our work at Centro Infantil de los Angeles. By donating your time, you can make a major difference in the lives of the children we serve. During your time volunteering with us, you will be placed in a classroom where you will assist the teacher with some of the following:
Playing with children
Arts & Crafts activities
Leading story-time
Assisting with meals
Changing baby clothes
Brushing teeth after meals
Assisting with field trips
We request a minimum of three days of service from volunteers. We especially welcome individuals with a background in nursing, early childhood education, or with Spanish language skills. Casa de los Angeles, our volunteer accommodations, is conveniently located directly behind the daycare and offers rooms with ensuite bathrooms, a full-kitchen/dining room, laundry services, and a lounge.

Opportunity Details

Spaulding for Children mentor youths 8 to 18 for ten months out of the year. This program ends for the summer break annually with a celebration. This year, the celebration will be held at the Troy Escape facility. The families we serve will have the opportunity to bowl, play laser tag, arcade games, eat good food and enjoy other families.
