Join us on Moving Day to assist with delivery as we transform a house into a home for a homeless family, individual, or foster youth. By providing beds, tables, dishes, couches, etc. We ease the burden of our clients trying to furnish an empty apartment while working towards becoming self sustainable. Our service allows our clients to focus on work, school, and caring for their families. We meet in the front parking lot at our storage unit, Armored Self Storage, 14245 S. 48th Street, Phoenix, 85048 at 7:30am. With the help of professional movers, we will load the truck, drive to the client’s home, unload the truck, set up the furniture and unpack household items. Volunteers are asked to carpool or drive themselves to the delivery location. Location of delivery will be determined closer to the work date. Able-bodied volunteers may be asked to lift heavy items and/or assemble furniture even though we have professional movers. There are less strenuous volunteer activities as well (unpacking boxes and making beds). A Volunteer Waiver and Confidentiality Agreement MUST be signed prior to volunteer day. Times may vary depending on location of the client’s home and number of moves to be completed. We usually finish work by noon.

The 2020 Catalyst Rehab Telethon is scheduled for Saturday, February 1st, 2020 from 11:00am to 8:00pm. The broadcast will be live on WMFD from Center Court at Richland Mall. All proceeds will benefit Catalyst Life Services. Your tax-deductible contribution will assist us in providing services to those who would not otherwise be able to access these life-changing benefits. We are asking the community for your continued support of the Telethon as the need for our services continues to grow. Your contribution, in any amount, will assist us in providing services to those in need. Catalyst Life Services has been serving the community as a non-profit comprehensive rehabilitation center under various names for over 65 years, continually evolving to meet the needs of the community.

Catalyst Life Services is:
• Audiology & Deaf Services: offering interpreting services, education, and training to Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals, their families, professionals, and the community, and offering audiology services such as hearing evaluations, hearing aid sales and service for all ages.
• Addiction Services: offering supportive options to address substance abuse concerns including residential services, intensive out-patient services, group and individual counseling, relapse prevention, medication assisted treatment and detoxification.
• Vocational Services: offering employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities or whom are overcoming barriers to employment. We provide onsite training to our clients in the areas of embroidery, digital print, lawn care services, custodial services, and manufacturing while also offering cost-effective industrial solutions for business and the community.
• Mental Health and Crisis Services: offering many program options for families and individuals including assessment & treatment planning, individual and group counseling, school counseling, case management, medical psychiatric services and nursing services. Our team members work closely with children and their families to address mental health and behavioral concerns.

The 2020 Catalyst Rehab Telethon will feature area talent from 11:00am to 8:00pm. All entertainment will perform “LIVE” in Center Court at Richland Mall. Local celebrities, VIP hosts, community guests and success stories of clients who have benefited from Catalyst Life Service's services will be featured throughout the day. Special “fun” events “in the wings” including face painting, magicians, a minion and a few of our furry and feathered friends will be showcased throughout the mall. Volunteers from local businesses, service clubs and organizations will answer the telephones for the Telethon at Richland Mall. Opportunity Details

The purpose of this volunteer day at Dayton Children’s is to assist with toy, wagon, and wheelchair cleaning and sanitizing to ensure these items that are used by our patients and guests are clean and ready to use. This activity is very important to the hospital to prevent the spread of germs to keep our guests safe.

This volunteer opportunity is to help the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home (ACCH). ACCH is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 ministry dedicated to providing the very best physical, psychological, and spiritual care to school aged children who have been abused, neglected, or are in need of supervision. The volunteer opportunity is our annual Pancake Breakfast, which is a fun breakfast open to the community that helps ACCH raise the funds necessary to keep our doors open to be able to serve more children. Volunteers will be asked to help us serve guests by cleaning tables, serving food, or helping with parking.
